StormStock provides footage for three-part BBC weather series

StormStock recently wrapped on the new series "Wild Weather with Richard Hammond," due to air on BBC One in December. StormStock provided over 5 minutes of its spectacular imagery including tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning, and blizzards. Much of the material was shot by founder Martin Lisius on Super 35mm and HD, including dramatic views of rotating supercell thunderstorms and twisters racing across the US Great Plains. The episodes include "Wind - The Invisible Force," "Water - The Shape Shifter," and "Temperature - The Driving Force." Lisius worked with Oxford Scientific Films who co-produced the program with Terra Mater Factual Studios.
